"Fishtown", a 112 page book by Bill Crandell, has been reprinted by Rick Lahmann and David Pearson, both of Leland.
The book contains 32 short stories, ranging from the tragic to the comical. The glimpse into Leland's history is both interesting and instructive.
The author, Bill Crandell, is a retired principal of Suttons Bay High School and a Charter Boat Captain in Leland's Fishtown. "Fishtown" was first published in 1997, but has been out of print and unavailable for at least five years. "Fishtown" is again available at Reflections, Leelanau Books, Horizon Books, and other selected area locations. It is also available at www.Fishtown.info.
