Leland's Fourth of July Parade takes place July 4, 2010. Start time is 3pm and a parade entry form will be available through this web site in the summertime.
It's a northern Michigan family event that you need to see. Fun floats by local businesses, antique cars and firetrucks, and the kid's bike parade are all parts of our parade loaded with small town charm. Be part of the fun, download your parade entry form here!

Hi, I'm the Adjutant for Eagletown Post 120. We would like to march in the parade on 4 July as usual, but have not received anything regarding the event.
Do we still have a spot to line up in the staging area?
You would have to check with Lynn at the Bluebird Restaurant. She is the parade coordinator. The Chamber of Commerce is not the sponsoring organization, but Lynn should be able to help you.
We would like to enter our 1955 Cadillac in the July 4 Parade. May we do this via email?

I think the previous entry here, covers that. The entry form is also on our website.
I haven't been able to reach Lynn at the Bluebird, although we've left a message with name and telephone. We aren't able to download your entry form (Mac vs. PC Word problem), so we have so far no means to register for the Parade. Should we just show up early and jockey for a place? Is there someone else we may contact for a registered place, as we've done in the past?
Many thanks,
Charles Smith

The PDF form for the parade should open on any computer. As the parade isn't a Chamber of Commerce function, I don't have any more details. Lynn is usually working, if you were to stop in.
Thank you, we will go to the Bluebird and ask for Lynn. She has not replied to telephone messages. Word for Macs was not a part of bundled software. We remain hopeful that we will be able to drive in your wonderful Parade this year after so many enjoyable years of participation.
