I visited Leland last week and watched the fish try to jump the dam and tasted some fish sausage. Wow. I was born in Grand Rapids and live in Tampa,Fl I come up every year to hunt deer in Mecosta and lake counties. My brother in law from St.Joseph invited me up to go fishing for salmon. we stayed in Beaulah and fished several streams in and arount that area. I have never caught such big fish. The town of Leland is priceless. I will be coming back up in November with my truck so I can transport the fish I caught and the Big Buck I plan on getting. My wife will fly up. I hope to introduce her to your lovely town and purchase some fish sausage. The changing of the leaves were beautiful. Hope to visit your town in November.
