Leland recently enjoyed an upgrade to the Leland Harbor & Marina. This has been great for the community; but this was only “Phase 1”. “Phase 2” includes a widening of the boat launch so two boats can be launched at once, additional parking, appropriate lighting, and public restrooms. It is imperative that Phase 2 be implemented before the 2012 summer season. Even though our temporary restrooms are better than most, they are still temporaries. Our visitors have been patient; but they have suffered enough.
