STEPHEN LANG will be LIVE in Leland for the Michigan film premiere of BEYOND GLORY – a feature length documentary telling the story of Lang's yearlong, award-winning, one-man play journey – based on the book Beyond Glory by Larry Smith. Actor Stephen Lang and author Larry Smith will participate in a Q&A following each screening!
The film starts with Lang's interactions with frontline troops in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf, and follows Lang as he performs in the war zone, in theatres across the Heartland and at the Flea Theater in New York City. Combining the intimacy of live performance with visual effects only available in the cinematic realm, the film gives the audience the experience of watching a unique, multi-layered theatrical event from the best seat in the house.
