The Leland Chamber of Commerce (LCOC) reflects the needs and interests of its members and works hard to support them! Our members know that by working together we can accomplish more than working as individuals. There are many reasons why your business, organization or you as an individual, would benefit from joining LCOC.
Support Leland Chamber’s Mission and Advocacy
Your Chamber Membership directly supports our mission of promoting economic growth and stability in the Leland Township Community. The Chamber contributes to the local needs of our community by funding scholarships, volunteer and educational partnerships, hosting community events, marketing, and much more.
The LCOC acts as the voice of business in our community. We consistently represent the interests of businesses to overcome challenges, and work with local agencies to continue making Leland a great place to live and visit.
Marketing and Communication
Included in the LCOC mission is our commitment to market Leland Township, and your businesses to year-round and summer residents, visitors, and to bring new people to the Leland area. The Chamber is able to offer its members a strong array of marketing opportunities that would be too costly for most our members to participate in on an individual basis. Our frequent membership email contact - Chamber Member News & Info - helps to keep members informed of critical issues, and our weekly email - New & Events - sent to a growing community and beyond highlights area news and our member’s events.
Networking, Business Meetings
LCOC holds at least four social/business meetings per year, creating opportunity for members to meet, get informed, and share ideas. Members are encouraged to attend these events, bring guests, and have the opportunity to host an event.
Committee Opportunities
Joining an LCOC committee is a great way to take an active role as a Chamber Member. Committee members are invaluable to the Chamber leadership team, and to the success of our projects and events. By joining a committee, you are contributing to our Leland Township community.
Events
The Chamber organizes, and sponsors, the Leland Wine & Food Festival, Artscape, and the Leland Heritage Festival. Additionally, the Chamber is involved in, and supports with marketing resources, many local events such as Summer Sidewalk Sales, Fall Frenzy, Late Night Leland, PJ Party & Sale, Light Up Leland, and more. The Leland Chamber promotes our member’s events on our website, and Facebook page.
